K Vintners ‘Milbrandt Vineyard’ Syrah, Walla Walla, WA
Dark brooding spice, cold ash, black plum again echoing the aroma in the mouth. Black fruit, wet stone and assorted olives. Elegant to be sure. Pair with a roast, meatloaf, or your couch. No matter what, you’ll enjoy this wine!
Peyrassol ‘La Croix’ Rosé, IGP Mediteraneé
An accessible blend in the true style of Provençal rosé: delicate with flavors of white fruit and a hint of minerality. Excellent on its own for a rare patio-sitting day, or for a day inside by the fire, imagining better weather. Pair with some soft cheese and a friend.
Paul Hobbs ‘Crossbarn’ Cabernet, Sonoma County

Cline Cellars ‘Ancient Vine’ Zinfandel, Contra Costa County
Well balanced and fresh, with just a touch of vanilla and light toast. Makes for a very special glass of wine. Goes with anything grilled, like burgers, salmon, or steak.
Cepa 21 ‘Hito’ Tempranillo, Ribera Del Duero
A very lively dark cherry red color. Intense on the nose, where the varietal aromas of the Tempranillo at its optimum point of ripeness predominate. Subtle hints of ageing appear in the background as well-integrated spiced and toasted notes. In the mouth it has body and length, balanced acidity and good persistence. This is best with a MEAL, like a roast or steak. Can also be paired with backyard grilling, if the weather is cooperating.
Vina Eguia Rioja, Rioja DOCa
Shows intense red fruit aromas combined with subtle notes from the aging including vanilla, coconut, balsamic notes and licorice. The palate is fresh, full and vibrant with a very savory and pleasant, lingering finish. Ideal with all type of meat, including beef and other red meats, various semi-cured cheeses and very good with Spanish “tapas” and tomato based pizzas.
